Porcupine Ridge Merlot

Discovered at Eskapism's electro picnic @ Röda Sten, summer 2009.

Pronounced blackcurrant profile with lush chocolate mocha dominate the nose. A ripe plum richness combined with significant French oak detail add complexity to the palate. Drink now, or cellar a further five years.

Grape: Merlot
Vintage: 2007
Volume: ml 750
Winemaker: Marc Kent & Rudiger Gretschel
Region: Western Cape
District: Franschhook
Maturation potential in years: 5
